Fall 2025 - Family Orientation

Student Orientation (SO) is a required program for all students enrolling at Gallaudet for the first time, including first-year and transfer students. Family Orientation is offered Tuesday, August 19 to Wednesday, August 20 and is optional for family members. Family members attending the Family Orientation will have an opportunity to learn about the campus resources that will aid in the student's overall success here at Gallaudet. Families will be able to meet University faculty and staff from various departments to ask questions about campus/student safety, residence life, student services, and more. Most importantly, parents and families will have the opportunity to meet one another and connect through a shared experience.
