S-STEM Scholarship Application

The scholarship supports full-time or part-time students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, IT, or Mathematics. Public Health majors are not eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

To be able to move forward with the S-STEM scholarship application, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility requirements below:

I am a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident

I am or will be a full-time or part-time student

I plan to or am currently majoring in Biology, Mathematics, or Information Technology

I demonstrate financial need

Required Application Materials

In a written essay (1-1.5 pages) or a signed video (3 minutes maximum), comment on the following:

Briefly describe your career goals in STEM.
Describe any extracurricular activities, eg. STEM clubs, serving as a tutor, community outreach, and career development, academic awards, and honors, that you may have achieved/participated in your STEM careers.
How will the S-STEM scholarship help you achieve your career goals in STEM?
