    2026-2027 Battle of the Books Team Registration

    Thank you for your interest in Gallaudet University Youth Programs’ Battle of the Books! By completing this form, you’re confirming that your school or program would like to take part in this exciting nationwide reading competition for deaf and hard-of-hearing middle school students.

    Registration will remain open throughout the summer and into early Fall. The final deadline to register is Friday, September 21st at 6:00 PM EST. Please make sure to submit your form by then to secure your spot.

    Chaperone Contact Information
    Please list all Battle of the Books chaperones and their contact information below. Starting in the Fall, we will email everyone listed with important updates, including next steps and Chaperone Portal access.

    If your school or program doesn't have an assigned chaperone at the time of filling out this registration form, you can use an administrator as the contact person for the time being. 
    Battle of the Books Divisions

    Blue Division: 5th/6th grade reading levels
    Bison Division: 3rd/4th grade reading levels
