Campus Tours
The Maguire Welcome Center welcomes prospective students and their families interested in learning more about the rich history, culture, and traditions of our fine university.
Prospective Students: Guided campus tours are offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tours begin at the Maguire Welcome Center in the Edward Miner Gallaudet Memorial Building (EMG). Each tour lasts approximately forty-five minutes to an hour. Bison Ambassadors conduct American Sign Language (ASL) tours, and we will provide voice interpreters for visitors who do not sign fluently.
During our tours, student ambassadors delve into the rich history of Gallaudet and the immersive experience Gallaudet affords our community. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn more about Gallaudet and its academic programs, residential and commuter life, and extensive curricular and co-curricular activities. Students interested in attending Gallaudet will also have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor.
All Other Visitors: Alumni, community groups, educators, ASL classes, and large groups of any kind will need to contact the Welcome Center directly to schedule a tour. This ensures we can best accommodate your group's needs and coordinate your visit appropriately.
