Campus Tours
The Maguire Welcome Center welcomes all sorts of visitors: prospective students and their families, American Sign Language (ASL) classes, and visitors interested in learning more about the rich history, culture, and traditions of our fine university.
All guided campus tours are offered daily four times throughout the day: 9:15 am, 11:15 am, 1:15 pm, and 3:15 pm, except for weekends and holidays. Tours begin at the Maguire Welcome Center in the Edward Miner Gallaudet Memorial Building (EMG). Each tour lasts approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Student Ambassadors conduct American Sign Language (ASL) tours, and we will provide voice interpreters for visitors who do not sign fluently.
During our tours, student ambassadors delve into the rich history of Gallaudet and the immersive experience Gallaudet affords our community.
Prospective students will also have the opportunity to learn more about Gallaudet and its academic programs, residential and commuter life, and extensive curricular and co-curricular activities. Students interested in attending Gallaudet will also have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor. |
